and New Initiatives Wing (RNI) was established in year 2006 as part
of Specialized Companies Division. It is headed by Mr. Akif Saeed,
Executive Director of Specialized Companies Division.
The Commission has always strived to offer well
regulated and market oriented financial products for the investors.
The most recent development in this regard is the introduction of
Real Estate Investment Trusts “REITs” and Private Equity
and Venture Capital Funds “PE&VCF” in Pakistan.
The RNI wing is working on the legal and operational frame work
for REITs and PE&VCF and soon the same will be finalized and
offered to public as an investment opportunity.
