COGNIZANCE AND PROSECUTION OF OFFENCES

37.
Cognizance of offences - Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (Act No. V of 1898) no court other than the court of session shall have jurisdiction to try any offence under this Act.

38.

Conduct of prosecution - (1) No prosecution for any offence under this Act against any person shall be instituted except with the consent in writing of the Commission signed by any two Commissioners.

(2)

Prosecution of any offence under this Act shall be conducted by any officer of the Commission authorized in writing by the Commission.
